The (mis)adventure continues...
I just recently realized that we never really wrapped up this blog. So I’m writing now to say thanks for following along with us and our adventure this summer. It was pretty crazy, ever changing and a lot of fun and we appreciate you sharing that with us, even if in a small way. We hope you all had a great summer as well.

Ranchy not Raunchy
Hi from montana! We’ve been here since saturday and have already enjoyed Mackenzie River buffalo wing pizza (mmmm), a horseback ride, an energy class, amazing Cherisse Acosta food, and a lot of rain. We saw a cool herd of elk and Ben saw a bear but Mollie missed it while looking at cows. Oh well. We’re having a great time here and enjoying staying put for a while. We have limited...

Ah finally, some internet access. On the historic Hopson Plantation, about a mile from the mythical crossroads, no less. The Plantation is now home to The Shack Up Inn, which has converted the sharecropper shacks to no-frills but very cool guest cabins. We had a great visit in New Orleans with lots of great food and fun activities. The camera is currently uploading several days worth of pictures...

Hi to everyone! We’re in NOLA right now and we have limited internet access but we’ve been having an amazing time. Lots of music, food, and exploring. The city is really amazing. We’ll update later when we have more time but we just wanted to write a quick note!

We made it to Tupelo, MS tonight. After a great day on the Natchez Trace through Nashville down into Mississippi, we are now enjoying the Yankee game (8-2 yanks in the 7th!).
The day started out nicely in Nashville with lunch at the famous Loveless Cafe. Those biscuits are unbelievable. You may have heard of them from the Food Network (“Throwdown with Bobby Flay”). Unbelievable. ...

We posted some pictures from our time in Boston and Ithaca. It’s a gorgeous day and we are getting packed up and ready to hit the road.

ithaca tomorrow until monday.
after that, drive to new orleans and stay there for a few days.
head up from nola through the ms delta and memphis back up north to michigan for a couple days until montana on june 13th.
we’ll stay in montana and do our hike and then come back down through cali and the southwest and back up to indy as planned.

The story goes like this: This afternoon, Mollie sent a message to the woman at the ranch just to say, “Hey, we’ll be there in a few days, looking forward to seeing you,” that sort of thing. As it turns out, through an apparent miscommunication, the ranch was not expecting us until the middle of June and will not have any work for us until the middle of June.

Pre-Planning
Mollie came up with an excellent idea of documenting our travels this summer in a blog so those who are interested can have an idea of where we are and what we are doing. Currently, our schedule looks like this:
On Thursday May 21, I will leave Indiapolis for Boston. We’ll stay in Boston for two days.
