The story goes like this: This afternoon, Mollie sent a message to the woman at the ranch just to say, “Hey, we’ll be there in a few days, looking forward to seeing you,” that sort of thing. As it turns out, through an apparent miscommunication, the ranch was not expecting us until the middle of June and will not have any work for us until the middle of June.
So… We will be making some itinerary changes, apparently. We haven’t quite decided yet but we may spend some time in Michigan, we may do the whole thing in reverse and roadtrip to the ranch as opposed to home from it, who knows. As Quentin Tarantino’s character says in the fairly obscure Destiny Turns on the Radio, “It’s a town of limitless possibilities.”
Hopefully, we’ll hammer out some more concrete details and plans tomorrow. For now, I made it to Boston and I’m quite sleepy from the 15 hour, nearly 950 mile drive I did today so I am going to get some rest.
